    Personal Lines Paperless Delivery Program Agreement

    Personal Lines Paperless Delivery Program Agreement

    The parties to this Agreement (“the Parties”) are the Named Insured, or prospective Named Insured ("Named Insured" or "You") and American National.
     
    When you click the “Agree” button, you are electronically consenting to participate in a paperless program. Through this program, you will receive delivery of documents created by American National through electronic means. In lieu of a paper policy document or billing notice, you will be sent an e-mail notification with a link to the Client Services site, where you can view a PDF version of the following.  

    1. Your policy;  
    2. Your endorsements;  
    3. The declarations;  
    4. The billing notice; and  
    5. Other important notices. 

    Some policy documents will continue to be sent through US mail as required by law.  

    You are accepting the American National electronic presentment service on an “as-is” and “as available” basis. American National does not guarantee that the service will be without defect or flaw. We will not be held responsible for any loss related to the use of this service.  


    You will be unenrolled if one of the following occurs.  

    1. You are no longer a Named Insured on this policy; 
    2. Another Named Insured:  

    a. removes the policy from paperless status, and/or  
    b. elects to take over the paperless terms and agreement by updating the selections in the enrollment section located on the Manage Your Profile page at Client Services.  

    We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to amend, modify or update this Agreement, at any time, for any aspect of the electronic delivery program. We will notify you of any changes to this Agreement by providing notice to you in one of the following ways.  

    1. At your specified email address;  
    2. By US Mail; or
    3. By posting to our website or otherwise as allowed or required by applicable law.  

    American National will not request your personal information from you via e-mail.  

    You are responsible for accessing, opening and reading your documents or bills. Electronic Documents and Bills have the same legal effect as printed ones. If you cannot access or read any Documents, you must contact either:  

    1. Your agent; or  
    2. A customer service representative at:  

    a. servicecenter@americannational.com; or  
    b. 1-417-887-0220

    Hardware and Software Requirements: 

    • A valid e-mail address.
    • A computer with internet connection.
    • A web browser such as Internet Explorer.
    • A PDF reader, such as Adobe Reader, to open and/or save a PDF. You can get the needed Adobe software by download at no cost at http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
    • Enabled security settings that allow JavaScript and per-session cookies.


    Updating Your Contact Information  

    American National will send an e-mail notification to the e-mail address on record when a new policy document or bill is ready to view. It is your sole responsibility to keep your e-mail address current by logging in to Client Login at www.americannational.com. You may update your e mail address at any time by selecting the edit my e-mail address link located on the Manage Your Profile page at Client Services.  

    If your e-mail account information is compromised or stolen, contact us immediately at servicecenter@americannational.com or 417-887-0220 so we can take immediate steps to remove electronic access to your account.  


    Withdrawing Your Consent  

    You may end this Agreement at any time by accessing the Paperless Enrollment section located on the Manage Your Profile page, and removing the checkmark from the box next to the policy you wish to remove. After the termination is processed by us, all future documents or bills, as the case may be, will be provided to you in paper form. Termination of this Agreement shall not affect the legal enforceability of documents or bills provided to you before the effective date of the cancellation.  


    Obtaining Paper Copies  

    To request a paper copy of your policy, endorsements or other policy documents free of charge, you may contact the Client Service Center at servicecenter@americannational.com or 417 887 0220.  


    Paperless Delivery Program Acknowledgement  

    I AGREE TO RECEIVE MAILINGS AND COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRONICALLY, AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SUCH ELECTRONIC MAILINGS OR COMMUNICATIONS MAY INCLUDE INFORMATION REGARDING CANCELLATION OR NONRENEWAL NOTICES.  

    By clicking the “Agree” button, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to terms of this Agreement, do not click the “Agree” button.
