Founded in 1905 in Galveston, Texas, with just 10 employees, we’ve added employee operations in League City, Texas; Springfield, Missouri; and Albany, New York for more than 3,000 employees.   • How do I update my profile after I have submitted my information?

    Logon to the Career Center with your email address and password and select My Profile. After you make the desired changes to your profile, be sure to select "Next Page" or the changes will not be saved.

  • If I include my résumé with my profile and/or application, do I need to enter my work history, education and other information in the fields?

    You will be required to complete only basic demographic information, as well as salary requirements. We encourage you to enter data into all fields, including work history and education, as it enables recruiters to conduct a thorough search for qualified candidates when jobs become available. If you choose not to enter data in all fields, your profile may not be found by recruiters.

  • I'm an independent insurance agent. How do I become appointed with your company?

    Under Careers, please select Agent Opportunities and fill out the questionnaire so that we can better help you.

  • What is the difference between an application and a profile?

    An application is an intent to work in a specific capacity (job), while a profile is a collection of personal data associated with a specific user, including current address, salary requirements, location preferences, etc. For security purposes and in order for a profile to be saved, applicants must apply for a position.

  • What should I expect when I apply for a job opening?

    Once you have completed your profile and submitted an application, you will receive an email welcome letter. You will be contacted directly by a recruiter if you are selected for the next stage of the interview process.  If you are not contacted by a recruiter, you will receive an email explanation.

  • Why do I need to register when applying for a job opening?

    As part of our formal application process, registering on the site (completing My Profile, Résumé, and EEO info), allows recruiters to search your profile for current and future job openings. While recruiters go back and search past applicants frequently, we encourage you to check the website regularly or select the option to be emailed when new jobs match your resume. For security purposes and in order for a profile to be saved, applicants must apply for a position.
